Tesla CEO Elon Musk has often been called the real life version of Tony Stark. With that kind of billing, plus offering a EV sports car with a 300-mile range, 4.4-second 0-60 mph time, and the highest safety rating in the history of automobiles, it’s not going to take much to get celebs on board. The latest is Laurence Fishburne, who is best known for his work in The Matrix, Man of Steel, Hannibal, and Pee-Wee’s Playhouse.
He was recently caught showing off the car to his buddy and fellow Matrix actor Harrold Perrineau. "Tank," who also starred in TV hits OZ and Lost, but unfortunately not in Pee-Wee's Playhouse, looked impressed by the car and even the keys. With a base price of $62,400, we wouldn’t be surprised if Mr. Perrineau's next stop was the nearest Tesla dealership with open checkbook in hand to dispense a bit of celebrity chump change.
