Competitive strongmen eat between 5,000-8,000kcal per day. Small, regular meals - up to six a day - are common.
Robert Oberst's daily intake:
  • 3.5lbs (1.6kg) of steak: 4,400kcal
  • Six cups (1.2kg) of rice: 1,300kcal
Luke Stoltman's pre-competition breakfast:
  • Three fried eggs: 270kcal
  • Two slices of brown toast: 130kcal
  • Bacon: 450kcal
  • Beans: 250kcal
  • Muesli: 300kcal
