Iran seizes Indian ship carrying oil from Iraq – reports
Iran’s Revolutionary Guard has detained an Indian oil tanker in the Persian Gulf, sources say. The ship, MT Desh Shanti, owned by the Shipping Corporation of India, was on its way to India from Iraq. The ship was detained in international waters in the Persian Gulf and was reportedly on its way to Bandar Abbas, guided by the Revolutionary Guards, late Wednesday evening. Iranian authorities told the Indian government that the ship was polluting Iranian waters, sources said.
